Ask a proposal to specify more than the broad material name. Thickness and the relevant declared product rating also belong in the description.
In existing pitched roofs, insulation needs coordination with underlay, internal layers and junctions. Gaps or interruptions do not disappear because a favourable material value appears on paper. Ask how awkward corners and transitions will be treated. Keep the product information and agreed assembly so later reviews can establish how new insulation interacts with components retained during the renovation rather than assuming every layer was replaced.
